Power Timeline

Every battle power from Raditz scanning a farmer at 5 to Gohan Beast and Black Frieza: the Z TV series, Dragon Ball Daima, and Dragon Ball Super's anime, movies and manga, in story order. Official numbers end on Namek; past that, each point is labelled as game data or a fan-scale estimate. Switch to Tiers to see who ranks where in every saga.

How the numbers were chosen

Official first, anime first

Where the story or an official guide gives a number, that number is plotted. When anime and manga disagree, the anime value is plotted and the manga value goes in the note. The English dub's "over 9,000" is "over 8,000" in the Japanese anime and manga.

Official numbers effectively end on Namek. Later official readings are rare: Trunks's "5", Babidi's kili readings, and scouter readings in the Broly movie.

The fan scale after Namek

Everything after the Frieza Saga that isn't an official reading uses this page's fan scale. It applies the common fan multipliers to each fighter's base level and places god-tier forms from story results (who beats whom). These numbers are estimates and are labelled "Fan est." everywhere.

Super Saiyan×50Ascended / Grade 2×75Super Saiyan 2×100Super Saiyan 3×400Super Saiyan 4×4,000Great Ape×10Kaioken ×N×N

Babidi's kili readings are official. They are plotted using one calibration: 1 kili = 1,000,000 on this scale. That places Super Saiyan Goku's 3,000 kili at 3 billion, which matches the multipliers. V-Jump's own "1 kili = 50,000" conversion is in the notes; it isn't used because it would put Buu-saga Goku below his Namek level.

Tiers

Tier mode ranks the fighters shown by their peak in each saga, so no number appears. S tier is within 2× of that saga's strongest fighter, A within 10×, B within 100×, C below that. Hide fighters under Fighters to re-rank.
